My first month I tested Grammarly's improve feature. Half my stories were written using that feature while the other half weren't. On a personal level, I felt like it removed anything that made the writing "me." It was lifeless.

On a results level, the AI assisted pieces received mediocre read ratios, at best.

AI writing still has a long way to go before it can truly replace personality and independent thought.
