Oh, yeah. I see it all the time. Its best not to worry about it. If your article is good, it will grow despite there being other similar stories out there.

Even if the ideas are the same, your voice is what makes it unique. People come back because they like you and your style. Not to mention, you may have different followers than the other stories, too.

As well, I'm pretty sure the algorithm is scraping keywords from your articles, both published and drafts, and showing you content related to those.
