Some, but not all.

There's an unknown multiplier added to Boosted stories. It's talked about in Medium's help site's earning page.

As far as I can tell, that multiplier sticks around after the increased distribution rates.

My story was Boosted in October. It received two reads on January 1st. That was worth $1.99. Well above anything a normal story would get.
