There's been a quiet change to earnings. There's no more follower boost and it seems that portion of the earnings pool has been integrated into Boosted stories. So earnings on normal articles feels much lower than before. As a result, being Boosted is easily expected to break $100 for a single story now.

There's been a massive influx in new writers these last couple months, which is great. However, it seems many of the new people are going through the follow-for-follow rabbit hole and comments asking for read-for-read cycle that a lot of newbie writers were doing at the start of this year when I started. The influx also means lower chances of stories being viewed just from a sheer numbers perspective.
