Welcome All New Writers!
New Years’ Resolutions often mean an influx of new writers here on Medium as they try to make new goals and pursue their dreams.
While I firmly believe that changes and plans can happen at anytime during the year, its nice to have an excuse to get started with a new year’ resolution.
It’s a wonderful time of year as new voices join the experienced ones. I love seeing new writers express and let their creativity flow across Medium. So, I want to be one of the first to welcome new writers to Medium this month!
You’ve joined an active and welcoming community here. One of the best social media communities there is!
I’ve been here for a while and am happy to answer any questions you may have. Even if you’ve been here a while, ask away!
As a publication owner, I may have some information that may help you. Unfortunately, I’m not a mind reader so I don’t know what information you want without you asking. So if there is anything you would like to know, please let me know!
However, over the course of January, I’ll be posting guidelines and tips on best practices and how to best take advantage of your time on Medium. These will be added to a list of stories to help you make the best of your time here.
Follow along and Save the list to get a notification every time a new story to help you is added.
Too often, new writers get discouraged and leave shortly after starting and I hate to see it. I would love to see as much of you stick around as possible.
