The night’s dark and cloudless leaving the stars shining among the blackness. Like little lanterns in the distance, they bring a sorrowful calmness.
I could stare at the night sky for hours. One of my favourite things to do used to be to sit in the backyard and look towards those faraway lights.
It was peaceful.
At the same time, it made me feel tiny. Very tiny. The vastness from where they burn is unimaginable and to think just how big and how bright those stars are is…near impossible.
