Seeing the pods, I thought about the many people emotionally falling during this cold holiday season, perhaps engaging in isolating behaviors or becoming extra prickly to others. How small, alone, and afraid they must feel. How much do they need a kind hand and heart? A pick-me-up, a bench to sit on with others, a little love?
